Simple Installation
Don't worry about cluttering your desk with additional hardware by adding a FireWire hub to your system. The Allegro FW 400 adds four FireWire ports (3 external, and one internal) to your computer. The Allegro FW400 easily installs into an available PCI slot of your computer and features hot-pluggable and hot-swappable device connection with automatic device configuration; no termination or device ID's required. | Technical Notes:
(1) Mac OS X 10.4 supported on early Power Macintosh G3 computers when used with appropriate third-party software . Please refer to software developer's website for complete compatibility and specification details. Sonnet does not endorse nor offer support for third-party software. (2) The earlier version of the Allegro FW400 (Part No. FW400) is not compatible with the Power Mac G5.
