Through its single port, Tempo edge SATA 6Gb/s ExpressCard/34 can connect single drive enclosures (great for solid state drives [SSDs] or standard hard drives), or multi-drive storage systems with integrated hardware RAID controllers, like Sonnet's Fusion™ F3 2-drive system or Fusion D400QR5 4-drive system.

Tempo edge SATA 6Gb/s ExpressCard/34 is versatile. Its fast 6Gb/s eSATA interface is well suited to deal with the increased bandwidth requirements of fast SSDs. It supports the RAID features of Mac OS® X, Windows® 7, and Windows Vista®. It also supports hot-swapping of drives. You can connect optical drives, too. Installation is simple—just plug in the card to your computer's ExpressCard®/34 slot and then start your computer—the necessary drivers are installed automatically.
